October Rose of the Month - Moonstone

Flowers are of hybrid tea form with ivory white petals and a fine pink edge. The flowers look delicate, but they are of good substance, form, and vigor - an excellent show rose. They are borne singly on long, strong stems. On average, flowers are 4.5 inches with 26 petals and a mild tea fragrance.

The bush is upright and vigorous to 6'; canes are moderately thorny, and foliage is large, leathery, and medium green.

Around our area Moonstone is susceptible to blackspot if not sprayed with a fungicide. So far, no mildew problems. ZONES: 4-9.
